Capsule 10. Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar launched his clothing brand 'True Blue' with actor Riteish Deshmukh as a showstopper for the fashion event.

Capsule 11. Tourism Minister Mahesh Sharma said the Centre has started the process to disinvest its stake and privatise 14 out of 16 hotels run by the India Tourism Development Corporation. The move is aimed at improving the state-owned firm's financial health.

Capsule 12. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) will give state-wise monsoon forecast from 2017, said Union Minister Harsh Vardhan. This move will be further extended to include other seasons from 2018-19.

Capsule 18. Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) reported its highest ever net profit in a single year at Rs 10,399 crore in FY16 and became the second highest profit earning Public Sector Company.

Capsule 19. An Indian-American scientist Arnab De has received the prestigious 'Springer Theses Award' of Singapore in recognition for his outstanding research in which he developed transgenic mice to study a critical tumor-suppressor called 'A20'.

Capsule 20. The Tata Group became the newest entrant into the country's ecommerce market with the launch of its online shopping portal ''. Tata Industries will have 90 percent share in TataCliq while Trent, another Tata group company will have 10 per cent shares. Tata Unistore will operate its online marketplace.
