This section was of “Super Easy” as compared to the other sections. Banking, Insurance and Economy dominated this section. Questions in Current Affairs were asked from National as well as International affairs. Insurance Sector got a special attention. The topics were as follows:

The Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) has notified the candidates regarding the recruitment of Assistant Administrative Officer Posts to fill up around 700 vacancies and invited the eligible applicants. The aspiring ones have applied and the corporation has successfully conducted the exam on 5th March 2016. The applied candidates have appeared for the exam which was conducted by IBPS and those who had appeared might be nervous on how well they have scored in the exam. The candidates who had appeared can check the sectional wise cutoff marks and category wise to analyze. However, the exams which are scheduled to be held on 6th and 13th March review will also be updated here.

Since the number of vacancies is huge in number, the cutoff marks will vary accordingly. We will provide the cutoff marks as soon as they are out. The exam review of 5th, 6th March of all sessions will be provided here. Those who had appeared can have a glance at it. And the candidates who had appeared might even check for the answer keys to analyzing the performance, we will provide the answer keys here. The exam has 160 Questions for 400 Marks. For every wrong answer, 0.25 mark will be deducted.

Note: The cutoff marks mentioned here is expected and it will vary with the original. The minimum marks to be obtained in each Section shall be decided by LIC. **English Language test is of qualifying nature and the marks in it will not be counted for ranking. The candidates who clear the written exam will be called for the interview and those who clear it will be absorbed into the respective posts.
