Exam Analysis SIDBI Officer Grade A 24th January 2016 (Slot I)

Dear expert readers,As we all know, online exam for SIDBI Officer in Grade A was conducted today, and few of our readers attended the same. The exam was conducted in two slots. However, in this slot, we are covering the Slot I only. A separate analysis for second shift will be given in the evening.

Exam Analysis SIDBI Officer Grade A 24th January 2016 (Slot I) 

Overall, the exam was moderate, with General Awareness being the game changer. While, the questions asked in rest of the sections were ranged between Easy to Moderate. Let's take a look one by one.

While in descriptive section, essay and letter were asked, which were moderate.

General Awareness:

The entire focus was on Banking, and various questions related to the industry which happened in November 2015 & December 2015 were asked. 

Moreover, only two questions of static GK were asked, and they were :
Where is Buxa National Park? - West Bengal
Where is Kodaikanal? - Tamil Nadu

Computer:

Basic questions related to computer were asked, and most of them were easily doable.

Descriptive Section:

This section was of 75 marks, and only one essay and one letter was asked in the exam. Moreover, choices were given, out of which the candidate had to attend only one. 

Essay: 
  • Virtual learning is the need of the hour. Its benefit supercedes those of attending lecture in colleges in this digital age. Do you agree or not?
  • Micro-finance as a tool for poverty alleviation.
  • Need & importance of employee retention in corporate world. What measures can be taken to reduce attrition increase in retention?
Letter Writing:
  • You have ordered a digital camera online form a reputed company, but when the article was delivered you found that the article was not the same as you had ordered. Even after 6 weeks of registering your complaints, you still haven't got the readdressal. Write a letter to consumer forum requesting theme to expediate readdressal.
  • Write a letter to manager of the bank complaining about the rude behaviour of an employee.

  1. sir I have one query .
    I attempted 144 ques in objective (Accuracy of90%) ,but unfortunately in descriptive 2nd section(Business letter) , i do not mention the question number . so can u please tell me what is the process ? Is there any probability to qualifying after that.
