IBPS SO IT Officer Scale I Eligibility, Pattern, Syllabus and Preparation Tips

With IBPS Specialist Notification out , the race for IBPS SO 2015 has started. The exam is for the following posts in Scale I.

IBPS SO Scale I:
  •  I.T. Officer
  • Agricultural Field Officer
  •  Rajbhasha Adhikari
  •  Law Officer
  •  HR/Personnel Officer
  •  Marketing Officer

Today we will take up IBPS Specialist IT Officer. Lets start with eligibility.

Eligibility for IBPS SO IT Officer Scale I
1. Age (As on 01.11.2015):
Minimum: 20 years
Maximum: 30 years
What this essentially means is that a candidate must have been born on or after 02.11.1985 and on/before 01.11.1995.
(add +3 yrs for OBC, +5yrs for SC/ST, +10yrs for PWD)
2. Educational Qualifications:
The candidate should have completed either one or all of the following till December 10, 2015 along with any one/multiple of the courses mentioned below:
a) 4 year Engineering/ Technology Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation
b) Post Graduate Degree in Electronics/ Electronics & Tele Communication/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Applications
c) Graduate having passed DOEACC ‘B’ level
