IBPS Clerk Main Exam Pattern & Expected Cut Off

IBPS Clerk result has been declared recently and now it’s time for IBPS main examination preparation. In this post we are providing you IBPS Clerk Main Exam Pattern.

As you all are aware that the IBPS has changed the pattern of the IBPS Clerk examination from this year. The IBPS Clerk exam is now being conducted in two pars i.e. preliminary and mains examination.

For the benefit of our experts we are providing here IBPS Clerk Main Exam Pattern as many among you have successfully cleared the IBPS Clerk 2015 Prelims exam and would be ready to tackle the Mains exam.

IBPS has scheduled the Clerk 2015 Mains exam in the month of January 2016. The exam will take place on 02.01.2016 and 03.01.2016. So you do not have much time now.

IBPS Clerk Main Exam Pattern

Let us see the exam pattern of IBPS Clerk Main Examination.

IBPS Clerk 2015 Mains exam will be of 200 questions. Time duration to solve this question paper will be 120 minutes. There will be five sections viz. Reasoning Ability, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and Computer Awareness.

These five sections will be of 200 marks which means each section will be of 40 questions and 40 marks.

What will be difference between prelims and main examination?
In mains examination two more sections of General Awareness and Computer Awareness will be added. Further number of questions will be just doubled. Time limit has also been doubled.
Level of questions will be not difficult. Like prelims the question paper should be very easy. So get ready for high merits. Also prepare hard for this exam as now all the candidates will be well prepared so competition will be more and tough.

Expected Cut Off and good score: Since cut off will vary from state to state hence not possible to predict at this stage however to qualify the exam one should aim for score above 120.
